Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - AUG A3 receiver markings

Hi, just wanted to pose a question regarding the origin of my receiver. I remember seeing a pic on one of the forums of a VLTOR manufactured receiver that was marked VLTOR on the bottom inside. Mine is not marked that way. I just recently (last month) bought the rifle new from CDNN. S/N is 7USA***. Is it possible I have a leftover Sabre receiver? If that were the case, does Sabre take a back seat to VLTOR quality-wise? Thank you-

Yours is a VLTOR A3 Receiver, months back with ATFs blessings VLTOR quit marking the receivers.
