I have purchased my brothers Knights SR15 MOD1 thats had about 500rounds through it.  I have been wanting a Tavor but couldn't pass up this rifle because of the price he gave it to me for.  I still want a Tavor and can't afford to own both at this point.    Im thinking I want to trade this (or sell) for a Tavor.    What do you Tavor owners think?    I know this is largely up to personal opinion but that what I'm wanting is opinions.

Keep the KAC, they will continue pushing out tavors... you'll have one in due time.

I have both. I love the Tavor but would never sell my Knights. I would keep the Knights and save up extra money until you can afford the Tavor.

If I ever get a KAC I would never sell it.

ARs have never brought less money in the resale world as they have right now.

Even though I love my Tavor and sold a well outfitted Rock River to buy it...if you have any emotional/non-tangible attachment to the rifle, you will regret offloading it.

I wouldn't. Though I'm thinking of selling my AKs to finance another Tavor or Aug.

Both.

No one should have only one .223 rifle.

Thanks for the opinions guys.  I think you all are right.  I need to keep this and ask the wife for more money for a Tavor.  LOL

Now I just need to order a new aim point and go have some fun.

Yeah I wouldn't get rid of a high end AR for a Tavor.  The Tavor is unique but I didn't fall in love with it.

If a tier 1 AR-15 (like a KAC) were my only AR-15, I would not sell it to buy a Tavor.
But if you are really feigning for a Tavor, then go for it. After picking up a Tavor, my AR-15 interest has diminished a bit. Others have said the same thing.

The bottom has fallen out of the AR market so you will not get a decent price for it, the Tavor is still pretty high and will come down.
If you can find someone who will give you a fair price for the SR 15 maybe, but that is pretty unlikely.
