Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - Tavor 9mm conversion compatible with IDF model?

Title says it all. I am looking to buy the Tavor IDF model, and I haven't been able to find whether or not the currently available 9mm conversion kit is compatible. Anyone here know the answer?

Yes.  However, on the US made "commercial" IDF model, the Mepro M21 optic is attached to the 5.56 barrel via an integral optic mount. The mount would need to be removed from the barrel and put on the 9mm barrel. There are several pictures of the barrels with the mounts floating around.  The optic and it's mount are one (1) integral unit and not separated generally.
