I'd worry more about which is a better match for your eyes, they'll both work just fine on the gun.
I have both. I prefer the Eotech, but the Aimpoint has incredible battery life... my primary HD rifle wears one, and it stays on all the time. |

I like the Aimpoint Micro's but I will be trying on of the Eotech's on the Tavor which I hope to have by next week.

I'm an Aimpoint fanboy, own several. On my Tavor however, I replaced an Aimpoint Pro with a Mepro Tru-Dot. Really like it, and it looks like it's meant to be there. |

I have a M4s, Eotech XPS2, Elcan DR, Trijicon SRS and for the Tavor the Mepro TRU-DOT RDS. I really like the RDS and it costs less than any of the others. I'd have another Elcan but it cost near 5 times what the RDS costs.

Aimpoint over Eotech any day. I've had the XPS, T1 and H1, I sold the XPS. I didn't like how the image looked on it and looked too wide on the Tavor. I switched the T1 over to a Mepro MOR and so far I think that's the winning combo for me.

After looking at them all, I went with the eotech. My astigmatism screwed up the others to bad.
