We haven't even finished unloading from yesterdays event, but I wanted to get some pictures up so all of you who couldn't make it out in person can see what all we had in store yesterday!
I will be posting up pictures throughout the next few days as time permits (we are still VERY busy here in the shop!) First off, for those who couldn't make it out we have not forgot about you, and , Manticore Arms is has set up coupon code BULLPUPSHOOT which will get you free shipping on anything on our website for the next week! We would like to thank the 800+ people who showed up to the event yesterday, it was an amazing turnout! We also would like to thank Ratworx, DS Arms, Krebs Custom, Charles Saloga, and IWI US for bringing out weapons to share with everyone, and of course we want to thank the Aurora Sportsmens Club for their Zombie Shoot stages, facility, staff, volunteers, and time, without which this event would not have been possible! We were able to raise over $1,000 for charity which will be donated to www.fisherhouse.org OK, now that we got all that out of the way, lets get to some picutres! If you took pictures, video, or even just want to talk about the event feel free to post in this thread! Sven Manticore Arms P.S. I was busy most of the event, so these are only the pictures I was able to snap at a few spare moments- we expect to have more (literally thouands) of photos, and I will post up some of the best as we get them in. |

Just to be clear I actually WORKED that day and didn't have time to take photos of everything, these are just from my personal Iphone and were taken before most the Vendors had set up on the line. We had media there for photos, and that stuff should start showing up shortly- there are already videos on Facebook and Youtube showing up of some of the cool new bullpup products on the way. More photos coming.... Also, I didn't hear anyone complaining that there were more than just bullpups there! |

How in the great googly-moogly did you get a CR-21? We know people. I did get to shoot the Vektor, and even though I was expecting a heavy clunker that had lots of muzzle rise (it is essentially an galil in a polymer stock) it turned out to be VERY comfortable to hold and shoot, and very easy to keep on target. Rate of fire seemed to be about 600 RPM, and it did not buzzsaw through a magazine like many full autos. If we could import these into the U.S., they would sell well! |

I remember Peter Kokalis's article about it in Soldier of Fortune. IIRC, the adaptive shell will work on any Kalashnikov type, not just the Galil, so I wonder if it would be possible to just import the shell and parts, and put it on US-legal Galils or AKs. Or some enterprising company could build a mold make them right here in the U.S. But hey, we wouldn't have thought of that already, would we? |

Unfortunately, the Tavors outnumbered the AUGs about 10 to 1, and I have yet to actually find a picture of even the Ratworx suppressed AUG or even the ones on our table! That being said we have photos coming in from a couple more media and individuals over the next few days so I am hoping some more AUG porn (and tent porn) will turn up. |

LOL, no, we had quite a few different bullpups out there - AUGs, K&M M17S, RFB, KSG, Barret M99, Vektor CR21, etc. in addition to the Tavor. It just happens that the Tavor is quite honestly the hottest and most numerous bullpup out there right now. IWI has put out 48,000+ guns in jsut over 18 months. That is compared to 28,000 AUG A1, A2, A3, and MSAR's put out in 25 years There are more kickass American bullpups coming out next year, so I would say we should see yet more and will, for now, keep the name Bullpup Shoot |

Midwest industries had their M-LOK tavor forend on display, Krebs had a couple of his forends and rifles on display (still looking for some pictures of those- we have at least two more photographers sending me photos this week). We had a K&M Arms M17S on the firing line too, I think I already posted a pic of that. We had several new models of Tavor ARClight forends on display, including: Our Pathfinder model (extends 7" out in front of the receiver to sleeve over a suppressor up to 1.75" in diameter, ARC LOK slots on enitre length, 13.4 ounces in weight) Our Commander model (used for the exener body of the ZRX suppressor, 7" out from the front of the receiver and 13.4 ounces, ARC LOK on the back half) Our Maximus model (this was more a demonstrator to show just how long we can make a forearm - 9" out form the from the front of the receiver, and would completely encase most suppsresors!) We had two of our new Overwatch series Tavor top rails on display: Overwatch Medium, 21 solid picatinny slots and sight plane raised to put the cheek to sight centerline the same as an AR-15 (so standard iron sights and optics work, plus Larue compatible!) Overwatch Full Length, 23 solid picatinny slots and sight plane raised to put the cheek to sight centerline the same as an AR-15 (so standard iron sights and optics work, plus Larue compatible!) Also is cut out over tohe top front handguard so it can be used as a carry handle in a pinch! And of course, or Tavor Curved Buttpad, which reduces length of pull by almost an inch while still keeping the overall length of the rifle the same (so as not to drop into the sub 26" NFA terriroty), and which was so popular we sold out of the first batch in less than 24 hours on the website! I did not know that someone imported a Veckor CR21! View Quote I don't think they did I think a member here had one built after sourcing parts. I asked the question in the AK forum a while back and he filled me in on the story. I'd dearly love to have one but have too many other unicorn projects going right now. Then again there could be another one floating around out there I didn't know about but either way there is a guy in country who will put one together for you provided you can source a lot of the parts. |

So, yeah, it is an imported Vektor, just that the Vektor isn't really a gun, it is a conversion kit for a Galil, if that makes sense! |

I know that the CR21 was a bullpup kit for the SA R4s. Too bad nobody wants to reverse engineer it.
I'm surprised that there is one floating as a postie ds. I'm surprised nobody brought in a SAR21. |
