I am at a loss for words guys. This is outstanding! Mobile links Integrally Suppressed 9mm Tavor - Manticore Arms First Look: Integral Tavor Suppressor and Rail System |

Very cool. I'll probably get one. Wish stamps weren't such a PITA to get.
It was truly an impressive design, very forward thinking and the integration with the Tavor is outstanding. The price of $400, if they can actually hit it, is unbelievable.

I got to shoot this 9 MM Tavor surpressed and it shot really good and quiet, hitting steel targets seemed to make more noise than the Tavor.

Wow. That's definitely my next project gun! When are these going to become available?

Sven from Manticore is also hinting at some future Tavor options I'm really looking forward to as well: |

We have been working with Ratworx on this project for a while. The worst part? Not being able to tell anybody about it until we revealed it yesterday! Do Want.
If a tax stamp only took a week or so, imagine how many more would be sold basically on impulse buys. What they need is to issue you a unique ID from the ATF once you have been verified in their system. The NFA dealers need to be able to verify that you are who you are (in person would be cool) and then allow you to shop NFA stuff instantly, pay your stamp tax instantly via CC. I would have so much less money. |
I was already wanting a Tavor...this might have just sealed the deal on it...Do I have to ask how long until FDE model comes out???
Also is the video on the right an OD color Tavor is is it just the lighting on a black one?
I'm not sure if I like the look of the set up, as I sorta prefer the partially integrated suppressor look of the MP5SD, but I definitely applaud the joint collaboration (Manitocre/Ratworkz) on this project and admit that my interest is very peaked.....especially at such an affordable price. I'm also wondering what a similar set up would look like for the hopefully soon-to-be released X95. With the great number of after-market Tavor accessories that have been released this year, I'm really thinking that there will be much more bad ass stuff available over the next 1-2 years. Me and my Tavor are happy...!!!

Cool concept.
I would want this with the shortest barrel possible, so that the baffle area is contained in the "regular" OEM handguard area. Not hanging out front. A 16" barrel with a suppressor doesn't do it for me - bullpup or not. Would a SBR length barrel work with this? I bet it's doable. Heat though, the Tavor without a suppressor attached does get warm, I wonder how heat is dealt with now that the handguard is now a suppressor. I think that's a legitimate question. |
I'm not a huge fan of dedicated suppressor accessories but for $400, that's pretty sweet. I don't even have the 9mm conversion yet but I'm sure thinking about getting the Form 4 going as soon as these are available.
Visually pretty cool as well. Totally different look for the rifle. |
Agreed with the post above mine... $400 definitely makes this an attractive buy given that it is integral. Looking forward to giving you guys some money when this comes out. And it looks totally badass to boot. Great job guys, can't wait. |

Fantastic idea... I have never been interested in a 9mm carbine until I saw this. How tight is the core in the forend? It seems like there may be a chance of a lot of gas leakage with no "O" rings.
Is the unit still in prototype/test state or is it ready for production?
Great...what is the serialized part...the front of the bafffle stack?
Any plans to try something similar for 5.56?
What would be really cool is a 300 blk conversion and integral suppressor. |

We have run 200 rounds through it as fast as you can shoot, and it was still comfortable to hold. We ran 2,500+ rounds through it at Bullpup Shoot on Saturday, starting at 9am, and it was only after about 2pm that it got warm enough it was uncomfortable to hold on to with bare hands. You could still touch your hand to it for 2-3 seconds and it wouldn't burn you, and with gloves it would have been fine. You also have the advantage that you can simply mount a vertical grip on it. |

We discussed production numbers today, things are moving forward quickly.
For anyone who is interested, you can start calling Ratworx tomorrow and get on a list for a ZRX suppressor- they will take your information and you will get assigned a serial number for the suppressor core. We are working out the exact details, but what they are hoping to do is get the paperwork going right away to minimize wait time on getting that new ZRX supressor core in your hot little hands! Oh, and for those who haven't heard, IWI US just announced this morning they will be building dedicated 9mm Tavors and will start shipping them within a week or two to distributors. |

Calling Ratworx first thing tomorrow! And thanks for the heads up on the 9mm Tavor. I don't have one yet, and will be saving some money by just buying the 9mm model. It had better be cheaper than the 223 rifle :) Sweet!

How about the two or three questions regarding a 5.56 version of this?

How about the two or three questions regarding a 5.56 version of this? View Quote As I have already said, this ZRX is not rated for rifle caliber rounds. That requires a different engineering solution. We are well aware of the market interest in a 5.56 suppressor that does the same things that the new ZRX supressor does. That is all I can say right now. I should also correct some terminology, the ZRX is really an Integrated suppressor, not an Integral suppressor. i.e. the MP5 SD has an integral suppressor, it is more or less a permanent part of the gun except for cleaning and the weapon is not meant to be used wihtout it installed. The ZRX is an integrated suppressor- it can seamlessly be added or removed as part of the Tavor while still allowing the firearm to function in both states. |
