I have an AUG A3 NATO, and my buddy has a RRA 458 Socom with a railed forend and a few other goodies installed with 500 founds of ammo.
I've owned a 458 before and liked it, have no problem owning one again. It will make a great short range deer killer and maybe pigs someday.
I think I have already convinced myself, just want someone to tell me to "Do It".
Is the market still good on AUGs, can I replace this in a few months?
My only hold back is that its just another AR15.

You can replace your AUG, your buddy can replace his Rock River.  Rifles are being produced faster than they are being purchased.

Either one is just a "fun gun" anyway.
Think I'll do it.
Best part of a friend trade is if either one of get buyers remorse on the drive home, a phone call will turn it all back.
I've dealt with my friend many times and never walked away feeling bad. Never felt bad even a few weeks or months later.
Deal done.
