I guess it depends on where you need to carry it. A pelican case would be ideal for travel. A golf club bag with a couple of clubs would be ideal for some situations.

So are you LE?

The Tavor is a select fire weapon manufactured after 1986. This means that is was manufactured after the machine gun registry was closed and cannot legally be sold to anyone outside of law enforcement in accordance with the Hughes Amendment to the Firearm Owners Protection Act.

Yup, there are only about a dozen threads on page 1 of the Bullpup subforum about them....

There's a dozen tavor threads on pg1 alone.

Box it came in .

No but really. I will probably just get another pelican case for mine.

Since it's smaller I could do with one smaller than my 1750.

I blame the active/ new topic buttons on top, it brings a lot of "outsiders" into the fray.

I'm thinking about trying the Elite "FS2000" version of their COC case:

http://www.elitesurvival.com/images/products/preview/cocfs2000.jpg
http://www.elitesurvival.com/rifle-cases/discreet-case-for-fn-fs2000/

I've been super happy with Elite's ARC cases since back when they were "Assault Systems", but the Tavor is so tall it barely fits the 28" Size 3:
http://www.elitesurvival.com/images/custom/arc3.jpg
http://www.elitesurvival.com/rifle-cases/assault-systems-assault-rifle-cases-by-elite/
so it'll never go once I put an optic on :(

That lead me to their COC case:
http://www.elitesurvival.com/images/products/preview/coc.jpg
http://www.elitesurvival.com/rifle-cases/covert-operations-discreet-carry-cases/
which would probably be awesome in a 28-30" size, but seems to come closest in 26" or 33". The 16" Tavor *might* squeeze into the 26" case (in my experience the ARCs at least are generous enough it would likely be fine) but the 18" is NFW gonna make it :( The FS2000 version above might be just right for an 18" and perhaps slightly oversized for a 16".

Sadly none of my LGSs stock Elite stuff, so I have to pay-n-pray. So far I've gotten them right, but....

YMMV and all that :)

Keep in mind the Tavor is taller than your average bullpup. It doesn't fit in all the same cases as my AR or MSAR.

the 16" Tavor fits perfectly in the AR15.com discreet case.

By perfect I mean 1/2" too long but it squeezes in and zips fine ;)

It should fit in better than that.

Those " discreet" cases start at 38" long.

The Larue Tactical discreet case, or maybe the improved discreet, would be perfect. I use one for an AR, might have to swap it out and see how the Tavor fits.

Let me correct myself.

The covert takedown case.

When I bought my STG, I had around $40 in eBay bucks to use, so I measured and found one that was pretty nice at around that price. It's the perfect size for the gun, and has 5 mag pockets on the outside along with a zipper pocket to fit any other small items you might need. I'm pretty well satisfied with it, especially since it was free and all. I may upgrade to a nicer case eventually, but for right now, it does everything and functions exactly the way I need it to. I'll try to get some pics of it in the case and post them, as well as find the link...

Do you have a optic on your rifle when in the case. I just want to make sure mine will fit in there with the Mepro on it. Looks like a good choice.

I found a Eagle 34" case in the garage from years ago. Bought it due to the Velcro tie downs. 4" too long but I like the tie down - although they almost don't make it around the front. But I also use it for other rifles so the 4" extra is ok.

Here is a shot of the Bulldog inside also.

I'm happy to report that the Elite Discreet Case for the FN FS2000 that I linked above is a great fit for the Tavor. Here's my 18" snuggled inside :)

I have a Galati International Double Discreet Case for my MSAR.
Mine is really tall due to the TR24G and Grip Pod so this was the only discreet case I could find that fit.
It even has a large, padded, discreet side pocket that you can put different pouches in to hold mags, etc.
