Deer season is almost here and I was wondering if anyone last year got a chance to use the KSG for deer hunting?

I have not but my Fun Store dealer loves how easy it points out of a shooting house.

I'll be pheasant hunting with mine in the future, going to shoot some trap with it this Friday.

Would be an awesome tree stand weapon and quite funny (effective?) birding.

I'm pretty sure Dave posted pictures of a fowl he tagged with a KSG.

Edit: this was meant as a reply with a quote to Hardshell.

I took the KSG to a Phesants Forever youth hunt yesterday.  The kids loved it and all knew what it was right away due to video games.  Lots of folks shot this on the trap line and were amazed (as was I) how well this little shotgun performed on birds.  One old boy really scoffed at it when I brought it up to the line, but he wanted to try it after he watched me go 5 for 5.  He then broke 8 birds in a row.  I don't know if he will be buying a KSG but I know he will be buying a AimPoint!  Anyway, the KSG killed a bunch of game preserve chinese chickens yesterday.  I really like it.

Bastard! killing poor "chickens" with a military machine gun that shoot 12ga bullets....No one should hunt with such weapons!
