It is official. You will want to be at the Rock Castle Shooting Center in Kentucky, September 29th and 30th. There will be a shoot on Saturday, a dinner that night, and then a Bullpup competition on Sunday morning. Mark your calendars, get Friday off work to travel, you will not want to miss this. My guess is that there will be some awesome new guns at this event, and lots of the good folks you met last year.

Free event to the public, no restrictions. I guess you can foot the bill and put in months of legwork and planning every year but you still cant please everyone.

Posted Via AR15.Com Mobile Don't complain when it's relatively close to you and over 1000 miles ONE WAY to someone else. |

Just so everyone understands, we would love to make it a 20 minute drive for every guy here to come to the shoot, but at the end of the day we have to pick *somewhere* and Illinois/Kentucky for the time being works best for those of us who have to haul mountains of gear and guns to the shoot.
I hope everyone will really consider coming out, even if they have to plan a vacation around it! Sgt_P has really taken the lead on planning the Bullpup Shoot this year and has done some incredible legwork and coordination in a very short time. It seems this is really turning into something special and we would like to have all our brothers and sisters of the Bulllpup Brotherhood, and even those who have never shot or even seen a bullpup rifle come on out! If anyone has any questions they can send an email to info@bullpupshoot.com Sven [Mods, FYI this is a NON PROFIT event with an open shoot that is free to the public. Shoot me a PM if you have any questions or concerns] |

You should really post the announcement in GD and have a mod/staff make it a sticky.

Roger (2020 Precision) and i should both have a couple of new goodies for the fresh-out-of-the-oven AUG A3's Jon @ Bullpupforum.com is doing a heck of a job pulling everything together this year- I have been too busy so he "volunteered" (I don't think he knew what he was getting into!) to get it all pulled together. So far he has done an astounding job, I think everyone will be really impressed by the two day event he has got lined up. Best part is it is FREE to the public, you can just come in , wander around, test fire some neat guns (cost of ammo is the only expense), see all the cool stuff and talk Bullpup with everyone there! |

Sven, I contacted several KY companys and Elzetta is booked that weekend. CenterFire systems contacted me and I am working with them to get them on board. They stated that they really only do the KCR shoot and the local KY HTF shoot. But....my contact is giving the info to the owner today.
I have yet to hear back from Accurate Armory or DoubleStar yet. Jenn and I & Jeremy have a room reserved for us about 6 miles away. I will link this thread to the KY fourm. Dave R and Roger., can't wait to meet you guys! |

* Insert sad panda face*
Last years shoot was a blast I drove I think 14 hours straight for it. Don't think I'm gonna make it this year because I switched from enlisted Army to Police work and I'm still in my field training period and am scheduled to work that week. I'm sure you all will have a blast make sure you post lots of pictures and videos afterwards of all the goodies and if you shoot up some cars again the before and after shots. Oh and lastly a big hells yeah for sponsoring the wounded warriors project I had the pleasure of dealing with them a couple times while I was still in, and once so far in my civilian life definitely a worthy organization. |
