I hope there's some truth to this. MSAR had the most affordable exotic 556 rifle and could be made left handed to boot.

Almost afraid to pinch myself. What is everyone's best guess on what their standard railed E4 will sell for? Not what you hope, but what they will really sell for? Should they have a new Beginning. |

It would be nice is MSAR returned to operation, but I have doubts it would ever be under the MSAR name as Tony Senior has pretty much run that name into the ground, then beat it into a grease spot to be sure it really is dead.
What would be really nice is if MSAR would honor the commitment they made to the people who returned magazines and optics... |

My concern is that from most accounts the equipment is scattered to the four winds. Here's hoping...

FN Strictly regulates the prices that Distributors charge Dealers. The only way Distributors can discount FN guns is when FN discontinues a model. Why the price drop then? FN Inc changed their Sku numbers on two PS90 models and two FS2000 models. Now Distributors can call those four models that have boxes labeled with the old Sku Discontinued. When their all gone, prices will be going back up! |

I hope MSAR does bring the STG556/E4 back. They could learn from some of there past mistakes and have a product on par with any thing else out there. I have enjoyed my STG556.

i doubt it. they finally came out (released for sale (when they knew they wouldn't have to stand behind them) 3 other cal's. most of which were broken down and sold for kits because the rifles didn't sell.
300 whisper is the new rememington fad, renamed 300 aac or blackout. no brainer for rem since they make 30 cal ar barrels anyway. i had an ar in it 10 years ago, had to form my own brass from 221 fireball. in the end it wasn't anything special, nothing that reloading the other 6.8 or even 7.62x39 can't do. other than the ease of mags... i am willing to bet that you will not see any new production bullpups from any manufactures this year. conversions, modified originals sure but nothing new. |

Steyr has announced new production for this year and the Tavor is supposed to be ready by election time.... never been to the SHOT Show have ya? promises and time tables are the specials of the day there. last year kel-tec said their shotgun was "just a few months" away. their display gun had faulty triggers and i knew it wouldn't happen. they don't borrow to expand and do what they can afford to do. very sound practice but but concumer friendly is it? i will have one of their rifles when they can be had for list...i am expecting to wait awhile lol. tavor doesn't have a production line or even a building to made them. you have to realize how long it takes to do those things as well get the money for them. you're talking thousands, tens of thousands just in electricain fees to hook up the machines once they show up. permits, zoning, ffl hiring, traing qc etc etc. msar made their move and never hooked up the machinery that did make the move. kinda hard to make guns without them. i think i heard that they only had six emploees. add in the fact that to come out of chapter 11 they have to settle their debts. may not be 100% but enough to make all parties somewhat happy. if they try to sell their largest creditor has the right to stop the sale to that party.usually back room deals that aren't exactly legal get done to make a sale happen. i saw this happen with a large formica dist that went bust. formica had the say who could buy the dist out since they were the largest company owed money by that dist. . the first company that wanted to buy the defunked dist formica didn't want (wouldn't pay back debt on the sly) so the second company....a formica dist already in the next state bought the company. my point is there is alot that needs to be done to get msar back up in any form and it won't happen quickly if ever . we'll see if steyr has the will to go through all the bs again to make the augs here. they may say the do but for what??? 250 rifles a year? they won't even make the .22lr kit whick i have to believe can be make anywhere and imported. get the feeling the aug ain't exactly top of their list? hell, even hk gave up and came out with their own ar. |

Sure these things take time, but you wont get there unless you get started.
I would love for MSAR/AUGs to come back into production here in the states. I'm just not holding my breath. |

I'd just be happy if MSAR survived long enough in this purported reboot for me to load up on spare parts.
