I've always had ar and aks but never a bull pup

Been looking hard at the augs on gundeals for 1515.00 and 1520.00 in white or mud

Would be handy in my truck versus the ap5 and more oomph behind the bullet

They are very handy inside a vehicle. Or indoors.

Probly gonna try out the IWI pistol grip once they're back in stock in green and tempted on the Geissele trigger upgrades as well. May replace the Streamlight w/ an SF Scout I have kicking around, mount it on top rail and cant it down, & slide the rail cover back on. Otherwise very happy with the setup.

For vehicle and small house work….a 16” barrel rifle, the size of a PCC is damn hard to beat.

Okay, hopefully *this* is the final version (more of a minimalistic sling/wml/optic 'KISS' setup), I tell you these things are like Legos for grownups but a lot pricier!
IDF buttplate, Magpul vfg & MS1 sling, Olight PL Turbo (800 lumens, 66k candela),  Meprolight Tru-Vision RDS and Shooting Sight hammerpack. Still undecided between the cutlass, UA & IDF pistol grips.

Agreed, their curved buttplate for the X95 is great as well.

You need to get some of the arctic white Lancer mags for that. Winter perfection!

I'm reposting my two Steyr AUG A1 carbine & rifle both made in 1989 and I bought them before the '89 import ban.

This carbine have the factory NATO conversion stock that I installed in the 1990s.

Pre import ban Steyr AUG A1 rifle with 20 inch barrel.

Really liking the feel of this setup but need to verify this Velos is going to pair well with the Tavor

IDF buttplate, UA pistol grip, Streamlight HL-X Pro w/Arisaka offset Scout mount on the top rail (front BUIS still deployable), Meprolight Tru-Vision RDS, Shooting Sight hammerpack and (not shown) Meprolight 3x magnifier.
ETA: The white mark on the Streamlight's tailcap is my 'lockout mark'; turn the tailcap 1/4 turn ccw so the mark is on top and the light's deactivated to prevent accidental activations (if I can see the white, there is no light).

https://www.ar15.com/media/mediaFiles/1593/IMG_0713_jpg-3068236.JPG

ETA2: I also like this setup, w/the Streamlight's remote switch on a vfg holding spare CR123's for the optic & Streamlight.

https://www.ar15.com/media/mediaFiles/1593/Streamlight_Ariska_VFG_jpg-3094422.JPG

ETA3: No remote switch to worry about, no chance of accidental activation and w/o the remote switch the Streamlight has an IPX7 rating instead of IPX4.

Looks good. Did you pin and weld or stamp it? Thin buttstock 16” x95 OAL is very short.

Thx! Did a P&W, wanted as compact as possible w/o the NFA hassles.
Yep, now 26.25" OAL.

@bigdave73
Is this question addressed to me?
If so, are you referring to the vfg or the non-vfg setup w/the remote switch on the bottom of the right side?

Nagative. I was asking Hox who's post is a couple ahead of yours if he liked the Panther TG-C grip he has on his X95.

I can't take credit...just bought it used already painted. I was a little hesitant at first, but it's definitely grown on me...I'm diggin' it now.

I've gotten a chance to clean the overspray off the trigger and it's much smoother now...

I didn’t go with the kit because I couldn’t find one for sale. I called iwi USA multiple times until they sold me the short top rail, I then sent my barrel to JPGrips for a chop and thread, and bought the BLK LBL sbr handguard. This all was far cheaper than the sbr kit they used to sell

Thanks. I always wondered why not just chop the barrel. Guess I have to start harassing iwi

I go between them and running the handguard slick. The Fab defense Tpod is pretty nice, albeit large and heavy af, but it works pretty good as a bipod. The CAA "Dildo" is lighter and less bulky, but the bipod is very limited since it doesn't have adjustable legs, pan or tilt the fab defense does.

Far as the handguards, The round one is a little nicer than the newer one. Lighter weight and fits the hand slightly better. 14.5" X95 without optic weighs 7.53lbs, where as the Round handguard 13" X95 weighs 6.84 lbs.
