I've since switched the base around on the Aimpoint PRO so that the torque knob was on the right side and I wouldn't keep smacking my hand on it when using the charging handle. Also threw a sling on there. |

AP-85 .22LR - odd Famas style rifle from the '70s/'80s. Posted it before, but the image was poor quality. Yes, I need to get a screwdriver out and put the sling attachment points on the right way!

I don't know much about them in private ownership outside Britain, but there have been some interesting discussions on the subject in this forum. Just got this yesterday from a fellow member. I had to sell my A3 earlier this year and missed it. So far digging the CQC rail. It's unique I feel.
Future plans are either TA-33/flip up BUIS or leave the fixed irons and get an Aimpoint |

I do have a TLR-4 green laser/light that would fit nicely there. The Streamlight is only 120 lumens VS the Inforce @ 500 lumens! Also the Inforce has a stobe setting that could induce a seizure with a certain people.

“Being able to take part in a bilateral exercise is very valuable and insightful for the Army and the SAF.”
This pretty much sums up 2LT Ewan Ferguson's key takeaways from XTD 16. “Through training together and interacting with our ADF counterparts, we benefited from these professional exchanges as we shared our training experiences with each other and gained valuable insights from their combat experience during their operational deployments overseas.” He also shared, “Even before we came for this overseas exercise, most of us knew that there would be a lot of logistics and manpower tasking to be accomplished to make this exercise successful. We acknowledged that we should fully utilise this training opportunity as this is the best training we can get due to the vast training areas in Exercise Trident.”
