Will I love it?  Been loading almost exclusively with Bullseye.  I'm about to buy a bunch of powder from Powdervalley and I can get 8lbs of True Blue for $160 or 8lbs of Bullseye for $130.  Worth the switch?

Yes.  Its a great powder, although not easily found
at times in my area.  That's why I buy multiply jugs.

I get excellent results in my CZ85b.

That 8lbs. of True Blue comes with free haz-mat as well. Evens out the price a little.

I've read a lot about True Blue here ...

I know DryFlash likes it a lot.

I've always loaded my full power and match IDPA loads with WSF. Good all around powder for light to heavy bullets. I'd like to give True Blue a try.

How is True Blue for minor power factor loads? Mostly with 115 grain bullets? Or is it best reserved for a certain weight bullet at full power?

You will love it, tons of load data, measures great, burns clean and cool. Worth the switch and more.

I started a thread about clean and easy to measure 9mm powder.  TrueBlue was the consensus so I tried it out.  Works great so far with 124gr and I will see how it does for 115gr.  So far quickload seems to indicate it should do ok.  I used to use bullseye, but for a couple fractions of a cent more per round I'd rather have a nicer powder overall.  It's still cheaper than VV which I used to use.

I'm planning on switching to 147gr 9mm almost exclusively.  True Blue seems to have a lower burn rate than Bullseye.  That would be better for the heavier bullets right?

The consensus is fast powder with heavy bullet equals lower perceived recoil. That is why Titegroup is popular with 147 grain bullets.
Same concept for Clays under 230 grain bullets in 45 ACP (or TG for that matter).

I have no idea where TB sits on the list but if it is as fast or faster than 231/HP38, I think it will be good.

I have a pound of it I swear I'm gonna test some day.

I'm off to the store today to pick up some trueblue.  I got some 124gn FMJ coming in on monday, and might as well try something new.
