I have four shelves stacked with .30-cal and .50-cal ammo boxes, so I don't have room for any more... yet I keep buying and keep reloading.

I tossed out all the 50-round and 100-round plastic boxes, which take up lots of space in an ammo box, and started putting rounds in 4x6 ziplock bags with a reload label inside.

One 4x6 bag holds 50 rounds of .223 or 100 rounds of 9mm, and they pack real easy. Now a .50-cal ammo box can hold 1200-1300 rounds of .223 instead of 700-800 rounds of boxed ammo.

I use the cardboard boxes sold by repackbox.com to store large runs of ammo in 30 cal ammo cans.

Very dense and neat way to store .233, .308, and 300 BLK rounds. Cheap too. Haven't used their pistol products. The boxes can be reused a few times if you're not too hard on them. Never mind the weird Ebola prepper stuff on the front page, the boxes are a good product.

I thought they were 100 rd boxes, my error.

Still, that's a great price!

I just looked at their site, free shipping and $1.05 each, awesome!

401 (380/9mm) 1.26 OAL Ammo Box

If you purchase 50 or more (same color and same caliber) your price will drop to $1.05 per ammo box.

Our website is unable to discount your 50 or more ammo box purchase, please be aware that we will manually correct the price as the order comes into our system.

I've taken to using the big plastic parmesan cheese containers from BJs. 300+ .223 per, 8 fit in a 120mm mortar can very nicely. Over 600 9mm fit in each. Load info written on duct tape in the lids.

50 and 30 cal cans labeled for caliber. Paper sheet inside for load data. If I'm loading for storage I vacuum seal them and put them in the cans.

I received the 9MM plastic boxes from Berry's.

Very nice boxes with actual hinges.

For the price, $1.05per,  I would recommend them.

I try to pick up those green army ammo boxes at yard sales and flea markets. The standard one will hold about 1400 rounds of 45acp and they stack easy. I throw in a few of those silica gel packs and close the  lid. I'm sure if I don't get them shot up some one will sure have a ball blasting them up!!!

Has anyone found plastic boxes that will hold 9mm bullet down without wobbling?

For small loads of stuff I commonly load for BLAMMO, I reuse factory boxes (say 500 rounds of 9mm) or toss in an ammo can (1000+ rounds of 45 ACP)

For special or experimental loads for my magnums, 45 Colts, 9 X 18, etc I use MTM or Dillon ammo boxes.

So 2000 45 Colt loads at BP/Cowboy pressures go in an Ammo can
100 rounds of 45 Colts for my Vaqueros loaded to magnum pressure go in the MTM boxes so I don't accidentally put one in a Colt.

I'm not seeing them for near that price, 2.12 is the cheapest I'm seeing them. How Long ago did you buy? Happen to have the sellers name I could check?

Thanks.

Check here: Berry's Manufacturing.  From their website: "If you purchase 50 or more (same color and same caliber) your price will drop to $1.05 per ammo box."  I believe it's free shipping on orders $75 or more.

I toss bulk into ammo cans. Match grade ammo or load development rounds goes into MTM boxes.

I used to try and keep all ammo in MTM boxes but they are expensive and take up a ton of space.

When we go to the range we just grab a can of whatever caliber we want to shoot. I bring an empty ammo can to put brass in. I sort it when I get home.

Since we're on topic:
The heavy plastic bags that you heat seal shut: (think bulk bullet packaging)
Who makes a good, affordable unit?
Does the "bagging" come as a tube/roll where you seal one end, fill as long/much as practical, then seal the open end?
I ask because there are a LOT of variations/makers/prices and I get confused pretty easily.
Vacuum seal is nice, but not exactly what I'm after.

I like the repack boxes because it makes it easy to store smaller salvos of a given caliber in a large can that make it easy to throw together a can for the range depending on what guns I want to take. I use a brother label printer to put my load info on the side of each box.
