I wanted to get all your opinions..

I am planning on working up a recipe for both 30-06 and .223 Rem using Alliant Reloader 7 and Reloader 15..
I originally got the Reloader 7 for the .223 and the 15 for the 30-06

Alliants web site is very limited in the info on these two calibers / bullet weights .. so I wanted to get peoples opinion..

.223 I will be loading 50 grain HP
30-06 I will be loading 168 and 180 grain Nosler e-tips

From the recipe spreadsheet form the top of this forum I don't see much 30-06 data and zero for reloader
223 I see a few recipes
I see two data points for .223 50gr :  22 grain and 22.5 grain  What should be my starting charge?

Anybody have 30-06 Reloader 15 data for 160-180 gr bullets?

Thanks all

I'm 99% sure i've seen RL7 in the Sierra manual I have at home.    I'll check when I get off work and post up in here later tonight.

Alliant will send you a data book for free if you request one on their website. Seems to me the loads are a little closer to the top end than some other data, so be careful...

Thanks! I didn't see that on the site until you mentioned it, made me go and hunt for it.  I have one on order now..

I loaded up 5 of each charge from above and I will let you all know how it went this weekend when I have a chance to shoot them (and yes I will be careful )

Thanks!
