OK I know Herco is not the #1 choice for 9mm but a buddy gave me a few jugs and now I need to come up with a Herco load for my son. We will be loading 115grn Berry's plated bullets and Win standard primers. I cant find my old Alliant loading guide that used to show all the loads that are no longer on their site. any help would be appreciated!

The only thing I found in my Lee book for Herco:

115gr Jacketed bullet
Starting load 6.1grains
FPS 1180

Never exceed load 6.1grains
FPS 1180

Pressure 28,700 PSI

Min. OAL: 1.120"

I would take the starting/max load being the same as a clue to use something else.

Plated bullets (Berry, Rainer, etc) are normally recommended to use cast loading data. Per Lyman No. 45 manual: for a 121 gr cast bullet, 4.5 Herco gives 952, 6.1 (Max) gives 1183. Yous should stay at lower end to prevent leading.

From Sierra 3rd Vol:
Herco Min: 5.7g / 1100fps
Herco Max: 6.6g / 1300fps
Sierra recommended hunting load for 115g is 6.3 Herco if that tells you anything.  Not that you can hunt much with a 9.

I have at least a K loaded with 6.2g and they are very accurate and function flawlessly in 4 different handguns with 115g from many manufacturers including plated.  Load with confidence my friend.  Herco makes for a great 9mm powder!

Is that shown for cast bullets? My Sierra is dated 1971 and doesn't have a Vol No. (and no cast bullets! I feel cheated!)

Not the same size bullet, but I have been shooting 125g Missouri Bullet Company lead semi-wad cutter bullets. These bullets have been fired out of a Sig P226 and I obtained the following data:

- 4.1g Herco, 1.120" COAL, Average Velocity ~962 ft/sec
- 4.8g Herco, 1.120" COAL, Average Velocity ~1065 ft/sec
- 4.7g Herco, 1.100" COAL, Average Velocity ~1068 ft/sec

I have been shooting Berry's 115g HBRN bullets but have been putting Bullseye behind this bullet and most likely won't use Herco behind this bullet. As others stated, Berry's Mfg. recommends using low to mid range jacketed data for their bullets.
