I just ordered a set of the UFO lights for my Lee Turret. Somehow I was not aware that product existed until I read your post. That looks like exactly what I need!

Annealed another 200 WCC12 cases. After 10 weeks if waiting my CE Products V3 combo kit will be here this Tuesday. Went through customs Thursday and UPS is set to deliver, yay.

Reloaded 234 rounds of 9mm in the LnL.

I’m getting my rhythm going and getting more efficient again.

I plan on doing about the same number a day for another 2 or 3 days to make up for the reloads I used over the last 2 weeks.

Just finished reloading rounds #21 thru 40.  Took about an hour, using single stage press.

Unfortunately, my lock ring on my sizing die isn't locking properly no matter how much I tighten the little screw, so I lost my resize die setting when I swapped to the seating/crimping die.

Don't be like me.

So today I replaced the broken extractor to my Glock 35.

What does that have to do with reloading?

Well let me tell you. It all starts with buying some primed brass. Then loading said brass.

Then out shooting with both a Glock 40 and Glock 35. 40 is 10mm and 35 is 40 S&W.

The brass I bought was all 10 MM. Except there was 3 pieces of 40, that I sorted out before loading.

Evidently there was more, and a few pieces of the 40 got loaded with my 10 MM load.

While out shooting with a few people. The 40 marked Brass loaded to 10 MM length was put in the Glock 35 and fired by me. Well it didn't fully chamber and when fired it was the last round in the mag. When fired it blew out the base of the case into the magazine and broke the extractor. No other damage at all. I am extremely lucky here. I still have the ammo can that I loaded all the 10 MM into to sort through. to verify there are no others. I'm also thankful it was just a mild 10 MM load, so more damage did not occur.

I was shaken up some, so we picked up and came home.

Once I settled down today. I sorted a bunch of brass, decapped about 2500 pieces of 45, and have a load of 45 in the wet tumbler.

Received 300 pieces of new Remington .35 Whelen brass.  A friend found a little store selling them for $0.50 a piece.  I stocked up in case this low demand brass gets placed on the backburner by Hornady.

Ordered some dies this morning from Brownells, a little later I got a notification from my CC company there was suspected fraud, and my payment was declined.  At least they declined the $400 for Straight Talk Wireless.  Now I have to wait until my new card arrives :(  But then I loaded up 50 115gr 9mms over some Bullseye.  Guess I'll keep loading 45LC with a hammer.

Recently finally got a hold of some more small pistol primers.  Asked for advice on what projectiles to get earlier today.  You guys answered the call and gave me some good leads on instock  items.  I got 500 FMJ 147 9mm projectiles on the way.  I'm dusting off the press and dies and want to work up a nice quiet subsonic load for suppressor use.

Insomnia is at least good for giving me time at the reloading bench.

Started well before sunrise this morning.  Finished sorting through a few Homer buckets of brass.  I discovered I have a LOT of .40 S&W brass.  Also found 60 pieces of .30-30 I must have picked up as an add on to an EE brass order.  Also found another freezer bag of .223.

Resized about 200 pieces of .380, which means all of my clean .380 brass is now sorted and resized.  Next is a lot of priming.

I sprayed down some .223 with CLFCB to do some resizing.  Apparently some of the cases had walnut media sill in them, and when I did the shake I ended up with well lubed cases covered with bits of walnut.  Gave up in disgust trying to salvage the lubed brass and just dumped all of it back in the tumbler with walnut and mineral spirits to get it clean again.

Cleaned up the bench and now it's time for work.

I feel reasonably good about my SRP stash now. I'll start working on the next batch of .223/5.56 tonight.

Still would like another 2K or so of SPP.

I'm in the process of working up some .38 special loads using 125 gr. XTPs and Power Pistol powder. I'm at 6.3 gr. of PP. I'm looking for something around 950-1000 fps. out of my S&W model 10. The data says I can go as high as 7 gr. of powder but I want to chronograph it first.

Because of the Bullet Storage thread, I had reviewed my stash of store-bought bullets.  I realized that I had some bulk quantity boxes that were stored just under the front of my bench, and almost in my way.  Yesterday I moved the bulk boxes out from under the bench and out to the garage with the brass I'd moved earlier.

It's pretty interesting how a little loss of toe room under the front of a bench can change your ergonomics...  And I'm feeling sheepish for not having gotten those bullets out of my way sooner.

My goodness there is a lot of stuff that comes with this, holy smokes. Got home earlier than normal so went ahead and unboxed it and went to town putting it together. That scale is heavier than I thought I was going to be.

Everything was packed with care and nice and tight. Nothing flying around. Attachment Attached File

I shot some test loads over the chronograph today. 6.5 gr. of Power Pistol pushes a 125gr XTP to a little over 1000fps  in my .38 spec model 10. Accuracy is fair. I’ll try 6.6 & 6.7 next time.
8.5 gr pushing a 200gr XTP is gonna do it for my .44 special GP100. 950fps and very accurate.

LGS called me and asked if I still needed the coveted H1000. I bought all they had left from this shipment. They called their best customers for dibs and H1000 never hit their floor. Love small towns. This filled the gap in my reloading circle for years to come.

Started an inventory of all my dies and conversions so I can swap over the last of the Dillon 650 toolheads to all 550 toolheads and then to eventually get the 650 ready to sell. In the process, I found a 50 cal ammo can full of brand new primed 300 BO brass that was converted from demilled 223 brass and half a 30cal can full of Remington 115Grn 300 Black Out OTM bullets. Deprimed a lot of misc brass and put in the proper bin for later wet tumbling.

I have been reloading since 1984 and just now started wet tumbling.  I have a RCBS Sidewinder  tumbler that I  bought back then.

I bought some s/s media from tbbullets.com (15 lbs.). I didn't want to go the pin route.
Been tumbling some PMC .223 brass (800 cases) that I already had sized, trimmed and primer pockets swagged. Man I should have been doing this years ago.

Ordered both the small and large RCBS decapping dies, going to change up my process so the brass is cleaner when I start sizing and trimming.

Also got a Giraud Tri-way trimmer for .223 a month or so ago.  I like it too.

Cleaning, tumbling and sorting.

Wet tumbled a load of 223, then 10mm and now some 9mm.

Sorted out all my 10mm loads to verify no odd 40 is in there.

Cleaned the benches some. Rounded up some extra tooling that I don't need.

Sorted through some extra miscellaneous brass that I don't even shoot or load for. I'll throw that stuff on the EE later.

Now for the bad part. I feel dirty for ordering a LEE APP. The rest of my room is blue. Even my old single stage presses are blue. An old Pacific C press and a Lachmiller 707. Both are blue. How do I live with myself for ordering a red piece of equipment.

Shot a USPSA match today, confirmed I like the slightly hotter load for my PCC so I will be working on cranking out 6k rounds in the next month or two.

Picked up a lil brass after the match as well as some lead (Blue Bullets really stick out on the surface of the berm) and sorted those when I got home.  Cleaned the bench slightly when I was done, going to straighten it up more tomorrow and hopefully start cranking out that ammo for my PCC.

Found out today not all bullets are created equal. Bought some Blue Bullets 125gr LRN bullets to switch over from Berry's 124gr HBRN bullets. Left the seating die the same as I loaded the Berry's at 1.126".

Recently bought a CZ TSO in 9mm and upon the slide stripping the next round to chamber it wouldn't go into full battery without bumping the back side of the slide with my palm.

Ended up doing the drop test in the CZ barrel and it failed miserably. These copper plated Berry's passed with flying colors. Had to end up seating it all the way down to 1.0895" to pass the drop test and feed reliably when fired. Now I have 2400 rounds to run through the seating die again

Emptied tumbler, threw in dehydrator and called it a night.

Not today but Sundays project was melting around 600lbs of wheel weights into around 450lbs of clean one pound ingots. Only  5000lbs to go!  Made myself some bigger ingot molds tonight that should throw about three pounders , should save a little time next weekend.

I have the first of three servings of decapped & sized 45 wet tumbling and three or four of those big cans you get popcorn in at Crimbustime to go through.

The plan is to list this in case things don't break well for me. AND it makes me feel like I'm accomplishing something besides my virtual(great description of what I do; thanks to whoever I stole this from!)job.
