Loaded up 350 rounds of RMR 124gr FMJ's over some True Blue . It was good to get back to a larger smooth pistol session. I'm going to pull out my cheap $28 bullet feeder for the next run.

Deprimed and tumbled 1200 pieces of 5.56.

Swagged and primed 100 to work up some loads I didn't have much luck with the first go around. The new Dillon Super Swage is night and day better than my old RCBS Swage Tool though. Worth every penny.

Sorted all my 5.56 and half of my 9mm by headstamp. After that's done everything will be clean and organized, which will be nice.

Went to resize some of the LC I just got and realized that my expander rod is bent to hell. I'm going to have to order a replacement...

Sized, swaged and trimmed my last 5 gallons of lc 223 brass.

I’m glad that’s over.

Now I have to wet tumble it all.  I might have to buy a extra tumbler.

Went to the range. Sighted in my 458 socom.

Then, tested some 6.5 CM. Results for one test are inconclusive. There is a thread on here about it.

The other test went well. Reduced recoil loads for the CM were awesome. Accuracy was good. Multiple sub MOA 5 shot groups in the work up.

Came home and resized all the 458 socom brass I had. Gotta go start the tumbler before I forget.

Then, I annealed all the 6.5 CM brass I had shot today.

Finally got my Dillon 550 up and running for my 45 ACP reloading.  I don't know how I feel about the Dillon.  It has pros and cons over my Hornady LNL.  I suppose I'll need more time to get a feel for it. I only loaded 200 rounds on it.  Priming and resizing is definitely better on the Dillon.  I think the rest goes to the LNL.

Time will tell.

Dug out my stash of shotgun hulls so I can load some 12ga. slugs and buckshot.

I have to sort out the Win AA "old style" compression formed ones because this

is the only hull I have data and components for.

Shot a small set of 6.8 SPC reloads in my PSA 6.8 upper.

These are my first “bottleneck rifle in a semi auto” reloads.  100% functioning all rounds, ejecting was consistent and carrier locked to rear on all final rounds.

Now reloading a charge ladder for accuracy testing.

Using my new Hornady 6.8 seating die for these reloads.  The “sleeve” in this die is a big improvement for the flat base 90 gr Nosler bullets in loading.

I took my powder measure’s hopper off and cleaned the heck out of it.  Before I start up another large loading project, I want to de-static the hopper as much as possible, and cleaning is the first step.

I started with Dawn and warm water with a brush to scrub the inside.  Then I used alcohol-based hand sanitizer to clean more - the gel consistency of the sanitizer got it to stay in contact with the plastic for longer.  I finished up with a rinse in isopropyl alcohol.

I’m going to let it just sit and dry overnight, and I’ll paste wax the insides tomorrow or Tuesday evening.

I also spent some time reading the CMP’s forums.  There’s a lot of great data about loading for .30 Carbine, particularly about how the brass DOES need to be trimmed, and not just for consistency.  I have a bunch of brass and bullets, lots of primers and powder, so I’m working on the details of loading a very large quantity of this stuff.
