That's a real Dave move, Dave.

Powder and primer shelves have been relatively empty for a month here so drug wife 114 miles one way and spent $740.00 on powder, primers and a box of 45 bullets all on sale at Cabela's yesterday.
Included a lb of the new CFEBLK and looking forward to working with it. |

Loading 9mm on the 1050 today. I cleaned about 2000 pcs of brass. Will see how long my old shoulder can go.
Interesting observation-I have sprayed one large batch of Winchester brass with One Shot. When the case feeder was empty I dumped the next dixie cup of brass in. I could tell exactly where the new cases started without lube. Everything runs so much smoother with One Shot. |

I just gotta ask........

Brand new RCBS hand primer wouldn't work. The metal gate would not go far enough back and was keeping the pin from going all the way down. Took a metal file to it.

I finally found CFE BLK in the wild. I bought a pound from cabelas to try out. I visited a local gun store where I found on clearance Barnes Original 300GR 45/70 for 25 bucks a box.
Time to do a 300blk ladder using CFE BLK and berry's 220gr bullets. |

Wet tumbled them. Going to load up some 9mm today and process the primer pockets of the 22 tcm and trim them to length tonight. Gonna take the gf shooting this weekend for our vday. |

I loaded 20 7.62x54r with some of the lee 230grain bullets I cast. Put them on top of 10 grains of Trail Boss. Probably will be pretty slow. Not even sure they'll stabilize. Will see. I dont have a chrono yet so no telling what the velocity will be.

Built a shelve on casters that will hold my 2 tumblers and separator with storage underneath. Looking forward to the extra room.

Tumbling some .223, 5.56, .380, .357 Magnum, and 9x19 now. Would like to start tumbling some .30-06 and .45 ACP as well but it's getting too late to do that after this current batch is done.

Yesterday I turned a bunch of factory 64 grain Gold Dot into once fired brass testing and dialing in my latest rifle build.
This afternoon I will be depriming, swaging and wet tumbling to prep for reloading with some 69 grain SMKs. |

|
Not today but yesterday, I tumbled some .30-06 and .45 ACP. I processed the .45 and primed 200 of them.

Well, I managed to get the batch of brass deprimed, swaged and wet tumbled. As I was rinsing the brass and separating out pins I noticed we have one of the dryer shelves and remembered some saying they were going to use their clothes dryer to dry brass. The little light bulb came on and I tried the same thing. Wow, nice warm dry shiney brass in a short ~20 minutes (I used the quick dry function).

Since I had 100 pcs of 9mm already primed thought I'd finish them up instead of starting on the .45ACP. My modest set-up...one at a time

Woke up fairly early and knocked out 350 9MM rounds, then changed gears and finally loaded up 200 22 TCM rounds made from 556 blanks. Feels good to finally get some of those loaded.

Before lunch I resized this batch of .223 brass, after lunch I trimmed to length. Now that batch is in the dry tumbler for final polish and lube removal.

Built a little cabinet with a vent fan for my lead pot. I looks like this but it's enclosed on all sides except the front. Now that the weather is geting nicer I wont need it, but if it works well next winter I might try and bring it inside.
This isnt mine, but I saw this or something like it and it inspired me. Attached File |

My neighbour, a County Sheriff Deputy, just gave me a box of Nickel Plated 357 Sig Brass he picked up from the Police Shooting range. Now I have enough brass for 1500 more rounds. That's enough to feed my Glock 31 for over a year.

Swapped out my RCBS .223 dies for Dillon dies in my RL550, then made a few dummy rounds to make sure they would chamber in my 5.56 ARs.
Got a set of Dillon 10mm/.40sw dies in, need to get a powder measure so I can setup that tool head. Bought a Hornady Lock N Load conversion bushing for my RCBS RC Supreme, and some LNL bushings for my dies, it will make it faster to change out the dies and I shouldn't have to adjust anything when I do. Need to dump my .223 brass into the tumbler and start a run so I can start processing |

Hope to start making some test loads with the 69gr SMKs in the nest day or so. |

Finished dialing in my new .223 dies for the 550, loaded up 50 rounds to test.
Setup the Hornady LNL bushings in the RCBS RC Supreme, then setup my .45-70 dies and loaded 40 rounds. Setup and used my World's Cheapest Trimmer for .223 and it works as advertised. Setup the GS Customs Swager for Dillon 550, works as advertised, hardest thing to remember is that it does not need to bottom out in the primer pocket, the crimp is only on the outside edge. |
