Loaded up the remaining pound of H335 I had for my .223 plinking rounds.

180 rounds of .223 reloaded.

Was feeling pretty motivated (single stage press) and loaded up 100 .45ACP rounds as well.

I visited the Cabela's in Waco on the way home from the Dallas area.  It was OK, but they didn't have anything I really needed in the way of powder, bullets or primers.  (Too bad their sale on S&B primers is over; I'd have stocked up on those just because.). It's not too small, but I'm used to the Buda store, which doesn't have square footage, it has acreage.  Suffice to say that I'm not going to venture all the way to Waco because the closest Cabela's doesn't have what I need...

I did buy some cleaning patches and a Tipton bore guide while I was there, so it wasn't a total loss.

Now I have to research loads for both True Blue and Tight Group in a the calibers I load.  .  And having seen what is and isn't available on shelves, I am going to start looking into the bullets I want but couldn't find, and ordering them online.

I did 6hrs of load testing today.

I tested .223 loads in 2 different 1/9" AR's. Neither seems to like anything 62gr and lighter. On to 69gr, 75gr and 77gr.

Next was my AR-10, suppressed. I think I found a load with 168gr Hornady Match bullets.

After the AR-10 I moved to .40 pistol. Everything likes 180gr plated with titegroup.

Last was my bolt action 30-06. My hunting load will be varget and 180 gamekings. All six shots touched. Very happy.

To end the day I shot .300blk suppressed and tested a proven load, tac and 55gr fmj, with my new suppressor. Ran flawlessly and accuracy was as good as it always is.

Great, great day.

Went and did some "UNreloading" after work.

sent 20rds down range with the 5.56 just because, and to try out the new Harris Bipod.

55gr Hornaday SP with 24.2 gr XBR 8208. 20 rds in aprox 1 minute = 3" group. I just cant slow down.....

Also sent 5rds down the 100yd range into the steel plate with the 300blk, with subs,(245gr MBC) then 10 @200 yds, then tried 10 more at 300....

I got some hits at 300, but DAMN, it took awile for the round to get there and the "Ring" to get back, and the holdover....

I think I will stick to 200yds

Scored a pile of brass, haven't gone through it, but lots of PPU 13 once fired. More for the PPU box. Iv been finding lots of it lately...hope its good.

Didn't have a brass bag with me for some reason, so my range bag kinda got trashed.

Loaded the 273 124 gr 9 MM Everglades Ammo plated round nose bullets remaining in my first batch of 500, after sending 170 downrange last week.  Ordered 1K more.  Case gauged all of the rounds to verify dimensions, inspect primer seating, etc.

Ran ~200 rounds of 200 gr SWC 45 through the Square Deal B seating die to decrease OAL just a hair to see whether that cures a rare FTF issue with a new pistol.

Wet tumbled 9MM and 45 brass.

Last weekend I processed 1K of once-fired .223 brass (deprime, wet tumble, swage, gauge primer pockets).  Sizing and trimming to come this weekend, then I will be ready to start loading my first-ever rifle handloads.

FWIW, the 9MM loading was the first real "production" use of my new XL650 press, after many small set-up/adjustment/learning sessions and a lot of brass preparation time to ensure the loading process would be smooth.  I have to say I am *very* pleased with the 650's performance and the ease with which it put together the 273 rounds.  I'm not interested in speed, but even at a slow, careful pace the loading went very fast.  Another plus is that, compared to my SDB, the 650's various loading stages are simultaneously more visible -- increases my confidence that the rounds are being assembled correctly.

Went shooting monday with about 5 other guys from work out in the desert  None reload and said I can have the brass.  Got prob a few 1000 9mm/45/223 and maybe 2-300 308.  1 guy gave me about 1k 45 that he said someone reloaded but he didn't trust cause the bullets didn't look right.   Basically the OAL was off on alot of them (seated to deep).  So I'm sure I'll spend an hour or so disassembling them)

I made use of my Midway USA birthday discount and ordered some bullets and some Hornady lock rings.  I'm plotting out some .40 S&W loading, and I wanted some decent bullets; I guess Rainier's bullets are OK, right?

Yesterday I started depriming some brass I got in trade, but I ran out of time.  I'll finish it up tonight, and hopefully have enough to do a couple of wet tumbling runs; one in 9mm and .380 and another in 300 Blackout and .32 ACP.  And I'll probably do them all with chips instead of pins, just to see if there's any difference.

That would have been really nice to have had last year when I cut ~30,000 pieces of 223 brass down to 300 blackout..

I have it up and running brass prep for 223/556.  This weekend I will get the 300 blackout tool head set up for prepping and converting 556 to 300 blackout.

It was an expensive investment, but I plan to offer brass prep service to help off set my costs.

Yeah, I was looking at it, thought it didn't look like a M die. Cool, good luck, very jealous of Your set up. I had a PW for awhile, wasn't what I really wanted, so down the road it went.

Needed a good scope for My Ruger.

I sorted a batch of wet tumbled brass this Morning, got another load coming out of the tumbler as I type this, going to do yet another MK 262 work up with the General Dynamic's brass. I think this one will really get Me close to what I want out of it.

Thinking about doing a 300 BO load to take along as well. I've decided to dedicate the rifle to be My primary HD gun, and use the 110gr Barnes TAC-TX in it with some W296.

I realized my 650 was throwing pretty inaccurately with Varget.  After a quick google search, I ordered an aquarium pump to give it a try.  My variance was noticed on the third round when it set off my powder check.  I was getting as much as 0.4 gr variance across 6 measured cases.  Luckily I only loaded 20 before I noticed.  I didn't notice it the last time I loaded with Varget.  I think my press base is too stable, not that it is mounted on 1/2" thick plate steel.  At least the case feeder runs 100% now.

I started swaging a batch of 1000 sized .223 brass for the next evolution.  They will all be getting trimmed afterward.

Picked up my EVO and finished the ladder test I had built last week with 147 Gran FP over TiteGroup and AutoComp.  Unlike the 92FS the EVO cycled on all stages of the ladder.  This will likely be the last time I fire the EVO until the Form 1 comes back.

ETA I converted a lot of 115 grain 9mm into brass with my XDm compact too.
