Check that number, I think it's a typo.

Looking at Accurates data, I would use Accurate 2700 or Accurate 4350.


No, AA2495 is correct.  It is very much like 4895 for burn rate and I have used it in .308  Win loads in the past.  It would be a good choice for lighter to medium weight bullets in the '06.

A year or so ago when IMR 4895 was in big demand and short supply, I tried AA2495 to load the Sierra 168 gr. HPBT match bullet for my M1 Garand(s).
2 different M1 Garand rifles, two targets side by side, AA2495 produced larger groups @ 100 yds. than my IMR 4895 load.
Acceptable? Yes, very much so but not optimum in my rifles.
