Where in WI are you? Recob's has it(or did). If you are near Sauk City, I'd just drive there and save the hazmat fees. If you are in SE WI, I think Dam Rd used to have it pretty regularly. Haven't used it in a while though, so I haven't been looking.

I order 12 9oz bottles for a friend and I last week from them. Sold out soon after on their website. You can call to see if they have any in store. People are so nice there. Wish I lived near them (except for the cold weather stuff).

Butchs Reloading got in a good sized lot of Hodgdon Universal.

They have some other rare ones, as well, such as H4350 and the IMR Enduron powders.

Been reloading for a few months now.  Tough to source competitively priced projectiles locally.  What are some fair online sources to checkout for reloading components, specifically rifle projectiles

Best deals I have found:
midwayusa "clearance" section (when they want tonreduce inventory of something, you can get incredible deals.
best other option is to look for "blems" or "seconds". I have never been disappointed. Places that I search for them:
Powder Valley (under "specials" tab)
Midwayusa (search keyword "seconds")
Shooters Pro Shop: They are in league with Nosler and handle all of their seconds. They do holiday coupons so get on email list. They also offer flat rate ($12 shipping).
Grafs (search "seconds").
If you live near Sierra plant, I hear they sell seconds on site at great deals.

The "seconds" tend to come in batches. Keep an eye on this thread. If you go back a couple pages, you might see Midways latest seconds batch noted. I got a great deal on some Hornady 208's recently. Midway seems to get the Hornady seconds often.

Look at Shooters Pro Shop, specifically overruns and blems.

SPS = Nosler factory store.

Does anyone have a source of 223/5.56 brass that is cheaper than 5 cents per piece, after shipping?

I need bulk 223/5.56.

Cheapest I've been able to find is $52 per thousand on Amazon for LC brass.

I don't need MOA accuracy in my brass.

Thanks

Looking for leads to find a couple thousand ( 5K to 8K) 5.56mm stripper clips, if I can find a reasonable price.

New would be good.

Functional used clips are fine.

Wholesale source would be swell.

Not looking to break the bank.

Most of the sources I'm finding read like this:

"M16/AR15 .223 Stripper Clips- 50 Ct.

$8.00

You are getting 50- 1x fired USGI stripper clips. These are in excellent condition. They have both tabs at the ends."

I was hoping to do better than $0.16/each.

Any leads?

You didn't look hard enough on Old Sarge's site.  Here's a deal at HALF the price in quantity 600: 8¢ each strippers

There are probably other sources for maybe a little less, but this one just jumped out at me.

Edit to add: I stumbled across another one just now: Southern Belle Brass clips at 6¢ each in 500 quantity

Southern Belle Brass never came up in my search, I don't know why except that google generally hates me, so I thank you for that.

Ebay is usually at Sarges higher price.  I've bought strippers from Sarge before, I used that first example because I just grabbed it.  I've had to disassemble almost every stripper from him to clean the corncob out.

I guess I was harboring some grumbles over that.

Ordering from Belle ASAP for a trial run, and I'm appreciative for the help.

I use https://www.223bulkbullets.com/ for 1k at a time. Been very happy with their rounds.
Last order was 5k from Wideners. Buy in bulk to get the price down. Turned into $67 per 1k. Damn good deal.

Get on http://www.surplusammo.com/ email list too. They send out deals on brass and projectiles too. I did an order from them for 4k Armscor .224 projectiles too.
Want cheaper, gotta buy in bulk.
ETA: right here - Not the best, but $73.50 per 1k, is not bad - http://www.surplusammo.com/223-caliber-224-bullets-armscor-55-grain-fmj-bt-4000-count-free-shipping/

To the guy looking for Brass, search local facebook groups ( yeah I know Arfcom hates FB) for local deals. Gun groups, reloading groups, buy/sell/trade groups etc.
Also, check with your local recycler company. My reloading buddy works for one across the street from a local PD qual range. Pretty good for free. I know not everyone is that lucky. If you are willing to buy a 5 gallon bucket and then sort thru rocks and crushed cases. Easy to get a lot of brass for a few hours of time. Brass is about $2 a lb right now too.

I think I'm more interested in C&R for dealer discounts than I am for actual C&R firearms (aside from a Garand).

I'm not familiar with SPS, URL? Thank you.

No association (I swear).. but I just wanted to post this link for brass.

http://eaglepeakshootingrange.com/brass.pdf

I live in South Austin and have never been to the range (too far north).

My friend pointed it out to me when I was looking for 30-30 brass a year or so ago. I couldn't find 30-30 brass for anywhere near these prices.

I ordered two cases of 800 in the past 12 months (we run a lot of 30-30). Shipped quickly (before my check cleared!!!) and the brass is beautiful. Price includes shipping (and tax for you texans). Very pleased. Not sure how good the other prices are but if you can find 30-30 once fired brass for cheaper, please let me know. I bought the 30-30 Dillon trim die and about to crank out a ton.

A dealer account with Brownells was easy to set up.  I haven't been able to figure out Grafs yet.  Pointers would be excellent - I don't think you and I are the only C&R holders around here...

For the masses: Contact Brownells customer service.  I emailed them and asked how to set up my account; the nice lady replied with an address to send a signed copy of my FFL.  I emailed it in, and my account was set up in a few days.  That was several years ago.

Read the Brownells FAQ (4th item down) for who qualifies.  A C&R holder definitely does.

I got mine a few years ago. I honestly don't even remember how I did it. During the great gun depression, Graf's stopped all Dealer account requests. I would be surprised if this was still the case. The best thing to do is call them. They are always much better over the phone. I have yet been able to receive a response to any email I have ever sent them. Perhaps I get filtered into junk mail.

Numrich also gives a pretty good discount.

Post back if you decide to call Graf's. In general, the Dillon stuff is discounted by roughly 10%. Not too bad. Their shipping isn't too bad either. Keep in mind they charge 3% for CC and don't give you a shipping quote when you order. You can request that they send you a quote before they fulfill your order. For all large/heavy orders (bullets for example), make sure you request a quote. I got a horrible deal on Berry's 44 and 45 bullets from them once.. $55 shipping totally ruined the deal. Could have gotten elsewhere for way cheaper.

Brownells has them right now for $299.99. Best I have seen anywhere by a mile.
