Hey guys i finally finished my gsg build and am loving the bajesus out of it. it's got the screw upgrade, classic handle and safety, ati metal rail, folding stock (may want to upgrade this to a real choat in the future if i see one for the right price), real hk91 handgaurd with a bracket i made myself for it. it's about rock solid now but we'll see how it holds up. also has a knock off eotech that has red or green holo and i made the NV button and the forward sight post marker glow in the dark with Noctilumina i had from some Seiko builds. also has the classic ring forward sight on the charging handle housing and the HK push pin kit.

the bracket was made out of 1"x1" alum. bar stock. the top was cut out and splayed apart a bit and then the cutting went on from there, dremel with cut off wheel was the only tool used, also has a slot in the bottom which is not visible.

also know that the pictured scope will not fit that rail without a bit of work, the forward rotating base has to be cut from an egg shape into a circle for the arm to close.

please tell me what you think guys!

very nice. I would be very interested to see how you extended out the cocking tube housing. Id also like to check out your custom mounting system. One gear head to another. Nice build. Dont worry about the knock off sight, as long as it holds zero your fine, just don't drop it . Plans on changing the lower?

This look cool, did it add much weight to the gun? what was the final price to extend the cocking tube? and tips to someone that might want to try to extend the cocking tube?

hey buddy, the cost to extend the cocking tube itself was minimal, the most pricey bit was the g3 grip itself. i tried aftermarket ones but you'll want the real deal

the gun is certainly heavier, but i personally liked that it feels robust to me now

the cocking tube was extended by a hollow tube with a 4/10 shotgun barrel cut to length inside of it, i make the bracket myself. it feel pretty solid but i think i'll try again with solid bar stock when i get a mill

ill break it down tonight and take photos, if there's anything in particular you'd like to see let me know but ill try to be thorough
