Looking to go plinking locally, but trying to keep the noise down. Have any of you successfully used subsonic or CB rounds in a GSG and had it cycle the weapon reliably. If so, please share what make/model ammo you use.
Thanks

My 1st gen GSG-5 runs on Augila SSS. That is the sub sonic with the heavy (60 gr) projectile. Accuracy is fairly decent with it too.

Thats good to know. Is it Lead nose or Jacketed? I just ordered some Remington lead nosed subsonic to try out as I got no answers previously.

Aguila SSS is lead projectiles (non-plated).

Its a sub sonic velocity, but a much heavier projectile than normal, so it comps for the lack of velocity with a little more energy/mass.

My GSG522 light weight eats Remington subs all day long.

My gsg522 feeds all subsonics I have put through it as well. I have not used the Aguila SSS for fear of a strike on one of my cans. I did run the Aguila Super extra Subsonics 38g with no issues though.
