So, I have yet to talk to anyone who owns a 560 that regrets the purchase. Seems like its about the highest quality production knife that can be bought for around $200. Is that off base? I don't have one, but I have been wanting a new folder for a while. Closest thing I have now is an Al Mare Sere folder, but it doesn't have that hefty feeling that a 560 has.

I have also been wanting a Spyderco Police for a long time, but the VG 10 leaves a lot to be desired.

Is there something else I should be looking at in the sub $200 folder market? I want the biggest blade I can get. 3.75 or better and I prefer uncoated/satin stainless with black scales

I dont own the ZT 560, but I hear the 620CF, 0562, and 452CF are super nice knives.

The are a little more than the 560, but I hear nothing but great reviews from them.

I carried a 560 for about 3 years and loved it, used it hard and passed it on. You won't regret getting one and the new black washed ones look awesome. BUT be warned the 560 is the gateway drug to a hinderer habit

Please elaborate? What's up with the "slicer grind"?

I kinda want to buy a 550 just cause of this price http://kershawguy.com/products-page/zt-discontinued/zt-0550-original-design-hinderer/

I think it is a great knife. I don't regret the purchase, but I could've put the money towards something even better.

The 0562 is a great knife as well, if you don't mind having a 3.5 inch blade and the g10 and locking side being smooth.

It's more like a flat  grind so it's a bit thinner behind the edge.

The 0562 and 0562cf (M390 is awesome newer ones are in 204p) are a little shorter lighter and on Kvt bearings so it's super fast.

I'd go with the 0566 over the 0550 if it's a price thing

I just got my first ZT earlier this month, a 0566. The only thing I don't understand is why it took me so long to buy a ZT Hinderer design. This is by far my favorite folder EDC knife. It's flawless in design, comfort, and functionality.

Ordered kershawguy's last 560 in stock last night.

I'll probably order a 562cf when they come back in stock

I bought a Gen 1 550 for around that price a year or so ago. The knife came with that "blade wobble" when it was locked, so I sent it to ZT and they returned it in a couple weeks with the Gen 2 backing/lock and the deep pocket clip. I can't complain with what is essentially a Gen 2 550 for ~$130. It now spends most of its time in my pocket

I like my 0200. If I could spec out what I would like it would be a 0200 with a wave feature and flipper(spring assist) from the factory! If they made a slightly bigger version I would buy that as well.

Currently I'm carrying my ZT0300, I've been thinking about sending it to Northern Knives to have a wave cut in it. I'm not sure how it would look afterwards since it is the black coated version. I've thought about buying a stonewash 0200 just to have the wave cut. Unfortunately they're hard to find right now.

Had one and got rid of it.  Was to big for me to carry everyday.  Will eventually replace it with an 0566.  Good quality and fine design though!

ZT 560 is very nice.  I'm not much of a framelock guy but i like how they textured the Ti on the 560.  For a large sub $200 knife with the specs you are looking for i would say an Emerson CQC 15 is hard to beat.  Yes, some will say the 154CM steel is far inferior to Elmax, but i've used it in all kinds of conditions/situations and it holds up like a champ.

I carry a 350 daily and love it. Sometimes it can be bulky depending on what I am wearing so my next will be the 560
