I change my mind later and went with this one instead.  It's going in the daily rotation, for those days when I want to carry a pocket sized fixed blade instead of a folder.

Just a simple pocket sized fixed blade.  It's made by LT Wright, this one has black micarta scales but he's made a bunch with dyed bone.  It comes with a nice handmade leather sheath.  More pictures here:  LT Wright Patriot

You don't really get a good idea of the size of the knife by those pictures, it's pretty small but still big enough to be useful:

Also probably way more info about the knife than you really wanted

I'm looking for a nice little fixed blade knife with sheath, kinda like a boy scout knife. Thought it might be good when motorcycle camping. This might fit the bill.

Missed out on a boy scout knife for $5 at a garage sale.

The old Marbles boy scout knife for 5 bucks would be a hell of a deal.

This is pretty close:  Hess Hunter

I gave one as a gift last year, they're nice.

I'm a big fan of LT Wright.  I have a Frontier First Patch in natural micarta, and a Coyote in desert ironwood.

The Coyote fits in the Frontier sheath and is my preferred combo.

I like that ironwood.  I almost bought mine in ironwood.  I'm sure I will eventually buy another (probably a nessmuk) and it will be.

I love the looks of the muks but you can't beat a spear for a utility blade.

Very nice knife!
