Tell me so I can order a few tomorrow.

And do i want the basic model or the kit?

*Update:

So in true arfcom fashion, I ordered both.  A black II w/o kit and a tan Izula w/kit.

Update 2:

I ended up giving my son the Izula kit.

I say the izula II, It has a little more grip which equals way more comfort IMHO. I didn't get the kit personally and plan to get a set of the knife connection g10 scales for my izula II before hunting season rolls around.

Izula II AIWB every day. It's the way to go.

I like the original izula. The shorter handle makes it a little easier to carry, and is large enough for me. Great little knife, holds a good edge. Easy to sharpen also. A few strokes on the sharpmaker and it is good to go. I bought the full kit, but really the only piece that i use from it is the clip plate. I think you can get that seperate from the kit. Probably would just get the knife if were getting another one.

I like my original Izula a lot. I carry it everyday and used it this evening to process kindling and firewood. I've wear L/XL gloves and find the handle perfectly adequate. This is the "biggest" "little" knife I've ever had. The Esse 3 sits in the closet.

Skip the kit — spend part of that money on a 100-foot hank of paracord and a ferro rod.

I carry an Izula in a Dark Star Gear horizontal sheath daily.  I have the original grips on it but I really need to stop putting off getting one of the knife connections sets.  The II has too long of a handle for the horizontal 11 o'clock position I wear it

It all depends on if you like skeleton handles and paracord wraps.  I hate both so the Izula II was the obvious choice

You can buy full scales for the Izula 1, if that's your preference. Esse makes them with the exposed lanyard hole, and I think knifeconnection.net carries the ones that cover the entire tang.
