I started a batch of knives today for the first time in a long time. I have 7 cut knives (for castrating cattle) also a random big knife that i have been wanting to make. In the next few days I hope to add some small hunters and about 15 kwaikens to the mix. Here are some pics so far.

The large one is made from 5/16" 1075 and it has about a 6" blade and is around 11 1/2" total length. Its a HUNK!!

Thanks for looking.

Thanks.

Here are some pics from this morning. A few hours and I turned scraps into more knives! 5 are kwaikens. I got a wild hair and tried something different on the last two.

These will all be epoxy soaked cord wraps.

Layout of scraps.

Profiled and grind marks drawn

Grinding done

Holes drilled and ready for heat treat.

I still plan on taking something off your hands some day! You need to post more pictures of your stuff. Very cool designs.
How is that folder holding up?

Folder is holding up great. It looks like hell but has been performing excellent.

These are going in for tempering.

In between the knife making today I cleared brush and trimmed trees. Heres a shot of my tools. I made that chopper last year. Its 1/4" 5160 with a 9" blade. Shes a beast.

Thanks for the comments. Here are a few more finished.

First pictured I call WAR because I couldn't think of anything else and it might be handy if you find yourself in one. 5/16" 1075 with a 5 1/2" blade and around 11 1/2" overall. Acid etched finish and the kydex sheath has a bungee retention strap.

Second is few more pics of the Raze I already posted.

The last two pictured are a few Kwaikens that I finished. They are acid etched, 1/8" thick 1084 with epoxy soaked cord wrap on the handles. They are around 6 1/2" long and the sheaths will be set up for neck carry or with a retention cord for waist carry.

More to come.
