THE IMAGE ABOVE IS A PAID ADVERTISEMENT
Samson Mfg has introduced a new knife which fits into the AR15 A2 grip. The knife is the first of a family of defensive and utility knives which are deployed from the grip, just like the Samson Field Survivor tool. Other knives will be designed to fit the Hogue AR15 Rev B and the Magpul MIAD/MOE Grip.

The new knives are constructed from 420 Stainless Steel, and a polymer base which mounts securely into the AR grip.

The knife will be introduced at the NRA Show next week.

Suggested retail is $59.95

3/8's for an M1A that has an A2 grip on it.
Or your buddies M1A.

If its 3/8's that is.

(I would not mind stashing one that had good sharp serrated combo blade, no wrench).
It's not paranoia if there really is somebody after you.

If its 3/8" it'll fit the adjustment nut on LaRue mounts.

Having a functional armorers wrench like that would sure be nice.

Castle nut wrench, pin punch, etc.....with maybe an extra firing pin and cotter-key?

Since the nut on the M1A, and the adjustment nuts on my LaRue products all have obstructions in close proximity to the nut, I have to question how much of a turn you can get. On the LaRue, probably not a big deal as it is unlikely you'll need to turn it a lot, but it seems like a pretty non-functional feature.

I like their pistol grip toolkit better.
