The Razor Gen 2 4.5x27 by far. Lower and higher magnification range, better glass. Awesome glass for a 50. If it's not in your budget, though, the PST is a very good scope as well.

The Razor Gen II is great glass, but it is on my RPR. I got a great deal on a Sig Tango 6, so that is what is on my M99. Just went old school on my M82 with a Leupold Vx4 ER. On closeout it was not that overpriced and it was more period correct for that rifle. Yeas I am a cheep bastard.

or NightForce 5.5X22X56 NXS These are the most popular scopes used in the FCSA Match competitions. Does that mean others are no good, NO, its just the most popular. Why are they popular? Because they have Lifetime Warranties = no questions asked, they will be repaired or replaced regardless of owner. Other scopes will work for a while, just make sure they have good warranties as a 50BMG rifle system will eventually kill a scope. |
