What hard cases are all of you using to transport your big fifties?

I can break my State Arms Rebel into 2 pieces that are approximately 48" each, but I need something wide enough to accommodate both together especially with the scope on the barrel/receiver unit.

Suggestions?  Pelican 1750?  1770?

Loaded Gear AX-400?

Thanks!

Mine goes from the safe to a Voodoo tactical soft bag.  I couldn't find a reasonably priced hard case to hold my Safety Harbor with 29" barrel.

I use a stinger missle case. Its long enough to leave my ar50 together, have my cleaning stuff, and even ammo if you really want to. Its heavy, hard to find, but holds the rifle as good as anything else i have tried.

I carry my Serbu BFG 50 in the same case. I am very happy with it.

I have to disassemble my M99 Barrett with the 33" barrel, but I put it in a Pelican 1750.

Thanks for the recommendation on the Voodoo 60" drag bag!  While not hard-sided, it's nice that I won't have to disassemble it each time and at $140 shipped, can't beat that!

Yep, Pelican 1750, but I squeezed mine into a 1720 so it would fit in my trunk.

Thats the tough part. Finding them and not paying an arm and a leg for one. Saw some on gunbrooker awhile back. Just google and keep an eye out. Im surprised they're so hard to find with all the surplus stuff out there but they can be a pain to find. Good luck

Thanks to everyone who recommended rhe voodoo tactical 50 cal drag bag.  I got mine in today and it fits great.  No disassembly and can even keep the big ass carry handle on!  I'll post pics when I get the chance.

I think my BA50 came in a Storm Case.

I used to lug the LAR Grizzly around in a Pelican.

I still have the Pelican and have no use for it - but I don't want to ship the damn thing.

My TacForce drag bag no longer contains my AR-50 with a 35" barrel.
I let the muzzle brake hang out the nose to be covered by the shroud of the drag bag.
Not sure if this meets The Letter of the Law, but most times its in and enclosed trailer anyway.

Sold my Stinger case for $200 after buying it for $135 and never using it for several years.
Just couldn't see cutting end open and riveting on an extension for my application.

Looking at the SKB iSeries 4217-7 for a Barrett M82A1. Should fit sideways in most SUVs and is deep enough to hold Barrett mags vertically. Weighs 5 pounds less than the Pelican 1750 and isn't as long.
