I found some surplus ammo at a local gun shop.  It is headstamped "T W 5 2"

I searched the net and it appears that it was manufactured in 1952 in Minneapolis. Has anyone shot ammo this old? Any thoughts on if it is safe to shoot.

I think it is corrosive primed. 1955 was the year that the US switched if I recall correctly.

There is also a good chance its remanufactured. Plenty of that floating around with 50s headstamps.
