Today I was in gander mountain they had 50 round packs of 22 long rifle ammo for $2.50 a box. With a 3 box limit. I bought 3 boxes but was not happy. Then walking out to my Jeep I got to thinking. I have no problem paying $2.50 or more a round for 50 bmg but bitched about spending $2.50 for 50 rounds. Thought that was kind of funny and enlightening.

Why not go back in and buy three more and rinse and repeat? You left the store and came back in which negates their policy.

They had federal 50 round box for same price with out any sign saying a limit.

Never had a 22lr make me smile like touching off a 50.

My 10/22 can put a very small group at 100 yards that makes me smile.

However my 10/22 never stopped the range when I shoot it. When I touch off my 50 the entire range stops and look.
