With the talk about reloading lately and sizing brass, making sure you size the shoulders correctly as well as the overall case.
I thought I would post a couple pics of some of my tools. All of them are for a full size press and not the smaller Lee press. One of the tools is a case gauge, works like any other case gauge for checking the brass to be sure it will fit in your chamber. Plus it has a window that you can see the neck and shoulder area. Let see if I can post these.

Well, the pics came out so here's the run down on them.
First pic is of the 50 BMG case gauge and dedicated primer punch tool. The rings on the rod were made so that when you contacted the primer, primer is at the bottom of the shell and then out of the shell. If any of you were ever on Biggerhammer you would remember GEO.AZ. He made some cool stuff that was more for function then anything else. His son in law still has these made on a limited basis. Second pic is of CH4D's FL sizing die with replaceable bushings to match the neck to the chamber. Very nice to have, if you have a couple different rifles with different chambers, this tool comes in handy. |

Here is a photo of George the Old Turkey. I miss him. He made beautiful tools.
I was using his case gauge yesterday to sort out resized 50 BMG brass I am selling.

If I remember correctly George used a State Arms receiver and a barrel that was turned just enough to knock off the junk.
Made it look huge and heavy to absorb all the recoil forces. I think he had quite a few rifles chambered in 50 BMG. That mount he has it on probably weighs 50+ pounds. Hey F4E, did you ever sell your .50? |

I do know of another 'Ben' down this way... he usually posts as 'Calibound' in other forums, but I've not heard from him in some years now. (since the last Lytle Creek beltfed shoot).

Give me a call when you get a chance, if you weren't so far I won't say come on down on the 18th to our shoot.
I'll post some pics of some other case prep tools when I get a chance. Maybe some of the other board members might post pics of their stuff also. |

If anyone wants to add pics of their tools add away. I'll have to take a pic of my K&M tools to add. If anyone has a pic of a bullet sizing die, that would be another to add. |
