Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - Anybody seen cheaper priced Barrett M99's?

Got an itch for 50 BMG. What are expected prices for used ones? I've looked around and it seems like new ones retail about $3200. So is it unreasonable to see used ones sell for in the $2300-2500 range?

I've seen used ones around $2800 with the Bushnell scope. I haven't seen that many used ones for sale.  Used M82s are more common and seem to have a bigger % off new price.  I would watch gunbroker for a couple of weeks and a M99 will pop up that fits your needs.

I'm in the same boat but trying to decide on Barrett M99 or Bushmaster BA50.  Have seen used M99's for $2700 range but nothing lower.

I've seen a few 99's on local gunboards go around $2500, sometimes less. Depends on which generation also.
