I was looking at CTD for a price comparison. I noticed they have the M@ AP that has been mentioned in here before.

I noticed they have another M2 ammo listing that they list as 709gr just like the AP above. They call it ball ammo and the tips aren't painted though.

Is that correct?

They also have a M33 ball listing from the same era and plant. They have it listed as 660gr though. Some of the picture are even the same as the M2 ball ammo.

I wish I could get 10 rounds each of the M2 ball and M2 AP for collecting purposes. I'm not sure I'd want to shoot 50 BMG ammo that old.

Another possibility on the 700 gn ball.
There's a good chance that it might be South African.
The folks at 50 BMG Supply still have several cans of the pulled projos.
