If it's sealed I would buy it in a heartbeat!
If you don't reload and need ammo I would buy some. He'll, I might just buy some to toss into the bottom of the closet. |

Yeah, it's corrosive as it's WWII vintage and 50 BMG went non in '52 or there abouts ( U.S. only). But if it's in good condition the brass is better than any surplus that you'll find now.
If you plan on shooting it, plan on washing down your .50 with hot soapy water and then rinse. Or buy some Eliminator solvent from Boretech as it will remove the corrosive salts leftover from the primers. |

I'd be worried about the powder. Who knows how much it was broken down.

WOW, my favorite ammo can!
I will get back to you, there is a person I know, Slippery Rock, PA, whose ammo was sold by CTD. Good ammo at a good price, he'll load up whatever you want. If you're local, and not a re-loader, you can drop off any caliber rifle, and he'll make a round at a time, shoot target, till he finds the 'sweet load.' |

Ever since the first run on ammo and Cheaper than Dirt took advantage to raise the price of everything I refuse to do business with them no matter how good the deal is.

I have a feeling that the sentiments among many here, are the same.
Many negative comments about the company, usually gets the original post nuked or locked. Seen it too many times. Not only on this site, but others. Oh well. Hard to silence truth. |
