While I love my AR50, my cousin is ready to enter the fifty-game and is looking for a semi-auto Barrett. Is the only other semi-auto the Serbu? Any issues he needs to know of with either? How would you decide which to get? It will mostly be long range plinking - accuracy does matter though. He will be reloading.

Let me know if you have one for sale, or know of a good deal.

If you have one for sale PM the OP, the 50 forum is not the place to do it. Other then that you can offer any info you want on either rifle.

From what I understand, the Serbu is the more accurate of the two due to having a fixed barrel.

I'm not sure how much more accurate, if at all. But it does not appear to be as reliable.
