Im pretty sure, they are called Valley Ordnance, now. I think it was mentioned they were in Arizona. Maybe that will help you get parts.

If not, I'm sure just about any machine shop could turn you a new bolt handle on a lathe.

IIRC, one model is just a concentric rod (bolt handle area) with a threaded end.

The other has an eccentric area joining the handle to the treaded section. If you bring the old one in, either model, I'm sure they could re-make it, and even make a different design if you so wished.

They should be Valley Ordinance Works in Peoria AZ or they could be out of business again. I would go with a machine shop, it would be better then dealing with Chris whose a known scumbag. If you do use them, ch arge it to your CC so you can get your money back if anything goes wrong.

Good luck.

I thought according to them the ATF made them stop making the uppers because they considered them firearms?

If I had to guess the reality is that he was probably making the uppers without the propper licensing to make a firearm. While the transfer of the upper is not like a firearm needing to go through an FFL I could totally see how the ATF would require you to have a MFG license to make them.

Please post the results of your contact with Valley Ordnance if any. I meant to get my bolt upgraded and purchase a rail with no slope but I never got around to it. Chris was always good to me including sending a free quad rail with hardware to mount the bipod farther forward, when he found out the 36"ers were front heavy.

Thanks- DR

I doubt that. They were legally manufacturing lower receivers (normal ar-15 and single shot) and complete single-shot rifles at one point, IIRC.

Yes they are now Valley Ordinance. They however either don't have any BOHICA parts or just aren't selling them. I already talked to them about getting some spare parts and was told there were none to be had.
