Ar-50 brake only ! I have 1 for my next build with a 35" Federsen barrel on a State Arms action. K&P makes a nice one IF you are willing to wait for two years to get it. |

It would depend on the intent of the gun for me.
The AR-50 brake does work the best, but it is big and heavy. On a "tacticle" style gun I'd go with a shark gill style brake. A shark gill brake has got to be about half the weight. -It's not as effective as the AR brake, but still really good. What are you building? |

I've been researching like crazy since I received the barrel, I need to find an action with bolt and have it threaded on both ends to install. I'm going to treat this like I would my surgeon action 308, which I might purchase a surgeon but geez, they are even more crazy expensive than most fully built AR50's...... Any actions you guys reccomend? |
