A few years back there was a guy on Biggerhammer that came up with the idea of making a sling for his BFG resembling one used by people that competed in biathlon's. He posted some pics of the his set up when he had it done and it came out pretty good. Check out slings for Biathlon's and you might be able to come up with some more ideas and attachment points.
You might be able to use some of the small D-rings that you see all over the place now that people use for everything, find the right ones and you you could snap the sling on and off in the matter of a few seconds. I don't care for carrying handles as they just seem to get in the way when you don't want them to be, plus on any .50 less is always more. |
