Oops wrong category. Sorry, please move this to HK

I was driving through Iowa and noticed the Brownell's hq. Im glad I stopped by.

The place is great with tons of good guns displayed. Free soda too.

After going through tons of 1911 variants, glocks, czs, I got a chance to touch the HK usp variants.

Damn... Instant infatuation.

Havent even had a relationship with it yet and I know I love it. you know just what I mean.

I dont know how it shoots but heard and know it shoots real good. The sound it makes when it slides was what got me all hyped up.

Its gonna be my next purchase for sure.

Nine hunned dollar price tag though. I felt really bad for Ruger American pistol with a 500 buck tag.

you can find them used for a whole lot less then that. a few years back I bought a variation 1 USP ..45 compact , with 2 factory mags the gray case and manual,  for 450 bucks.   it was used, but it didn't show it. there hardly any wear on top of the barrel

no, not a police trade in, this  was a few years back,  maybe 7?, found it at a gunshow.  unlike some other gunshow in the country and on line, HKs are not all that popular  here in the NE ohio. buddy of mine who has a FFL  had a full size USP .45, he took  in as a trade, in excellent condition with 4 factory mags,   that took months to sell even with a price tag of 550 with the sales tax included.

Police USP and USPc trade-ins in .40 are everywhere.

Got this one before we started hating that caliber.

Dang wassup it the low resale value. I guess glock is dominating the pistol market.

I got a P30L with night sights that was never fired a couple months ago for 699, not so lucky with the .45 Elite.  Do like the Elite much better however.

Oh, I have NO problem with .40.  My point was that up until 2012-3 or so ARF was in LOVE with .40.  Now .40 is the Caliber That Shall Not Be Named.  The marketplace as a whole is moving away from .40, and trade-ins are EVERYWHERE.  My LGS probably has a dozen police USPs in .40 and none in 9mm.

I have more or less migrated to 9mm but still have 4 .40 pistols, lots of mags and ammo.
