scar 17 mags - AR15.COM

So my son just pulled the trigger on a SCAR 17 and I'd like to buy him some mags for Christmas. What's the recommendations of the hive?

From where or the type.

I use just the FN mags .... I have some thermold ones but they have been crappy so I just use the FN brand ones.

Stick with the oem unless he's getting a different lower that accepts pmags. Black or fde?

MGW had OEM bulk FDE mags foe $30 a few weeks ago. I picked up a bunch. Might want to call them or wait for them to go on sale again.
