Today I walked into a pawn shop and saw an FNH FAL side folder with bipod for sale.  Dealer was asking just shy of $3,000 and I am curious if this is a good buy or better yet what is it worth?

Right side of receiver reads, "Fabrique Nationale Herstal" and under that "Steyr someplace NJ"
Left side of receiver is marked, "308 Match"
On the front sight area there is a marking that looks like an umbrella maybe?
Serial number is 250xxxx

If it's all matching numbers and it's one of the Steyr Imports that is sear cut then its max value is in the $2500-$3000 range...MAX. I sold an all matching 50.42 sear cut Steyr import a few years ago for $3500-$4000 but it was in near mint condition.

It also depends on if the lower is alloy or steel....if I remember right the alloy ones were super rare?
