Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - SCAR 16s/17s SBR OAL?

Looking to SBR a 16s/17s with the FNH OEM barrels assemblies.  However after researching,  I am seeing alot of different lengths for OAL (on form 1s).  Since the ATF form 1 OAL  is from stock fully extended to end of barrel correct?  Just want to verify/compare #s.  Does FNH use rockset on muzzle devices?  Why isnt OAL measured with stock folded?

10" barrel
31" OAL

It wouldn't be the over-all length if the stock were folded.

Not sure about rocksett on muzzle devices, but I have seen some guys' muzzle devices come off easily and others had a hard time.

For the SCARs, I get my overall length directly from the horse's mouth (used on both Form 1s):

Mk16 CQC
Ml17 CQC

For the 17s it will be 33" w/out fh. Do not put 35" for the 17s.
