I am interested in the older style FN police pumps. The newer ones seem kinda ugly to me, but to each his own. The model im mentioning resembles the Winchester 1300 and has leaf rear sights, a rifle style bead sight, standard stock, and a choke tube that ectends past the barrel. I may be looking to buy a used one in the near future. Do any of you have any experience with this gun? If so can you please share your're experiences; both good and bad regarding this shotgun.

thanks,
Doug

I have one of these older fn shotguns.  Great pump shotgun with a very smooth action and rotating bolt.  You can run it very fast,  the moment you press the trigger it unlocks and you can feed the next one in quickly.   I dont care much for the finish, shows alot of wear and the anodized receiver doesn't match the park.   The weight is very light, when I bought it people say it would not outlast an 870, which maybe true but it works for meme.  Took it to a shotgun class running buck and slugs no problem.   Accessories are the only thing this shotgun lacks compared to the competition.
