"How it comes", which should be an arms mount. Make sure the reticle is calibrated for 7.62/.308 though.

where are you buying your elcan from? if its that new one on FN forum at a really low price be careful, mine was 2658 from Keif

Thanks guys. It was from swfa....embarrassingly bought a while ago but not used yet. In the box still along with the unfired SCAR. A new baby, house, job duties, etc killed my summer....It is the 7.62 one and they (SWFA) lowered the price with a match! I believe it was around $2600 or so...

IMO they are made for each other. The Elcan has a slick left side (fewer busted knuckles) and the 1x6 is a pretty good way to go for this gun and most shooters.
