THE IMAGE ABOVE IS A PAID ADVERTISEMENT When I shoot the rifle suppressed, it either double feeds on the second to last round in the mag, or the last round in the mag pops out of the feed lips and is just sitting in the open action after the bolt carrier locks to the rear. This happens with every type of ammo, and with all 5 of the mags I have for the gun. The gas regulator is set at the suppressed setting as recommended in the manual when the malfunctions occur, and I am using an AAC 7.62 SD suppressor. I have fired close to 300 rounds unsuppressed at this point, and it has been flawless until I tried to use a suppressor, so this is very perplexing to me. Here are a few pics of the malfunctions: If anyone knows what the problem is and how I could possibly fix it, I am all ears. Thanks.

Have you tried shooting it suppressed with the gas lever in the normal 12 O clock position? looks under gassed, are your ports clean and free?

Yes, the problem seemed to be worse with the gas regulator at the normal unsuppressed setting. I don't think it's under gassed.
It's like the last round in the mag is bouncing out and jamming up the action. No problems except for the last round in the mag. It runs beautifully without the suppressor. |

Looks like it's being over-gassed to me. On an AR-15 or AR-10 I would get an adjustable gas block to fix it. Not sure how to fix it on this rifle though since it's so new. Maybe contact FN for help,

Contact FN.
Also, the same system that allows for tuning the converted 16s sbr can help you here, you just get a couple of the various smaller size gas block inserts and test it till it functions properly if you wanted to DIY. I think somebody else probably knows where you can find them but it is an easier system to troubleshoot than ARs, NO DRILLING! |

Browning parts department carries them, there was a write up with parts diagram on fnforum.net with the part number breakdown and sizes.
