My small contribution to keep the thread alive. I just bought my 16s a few days ago so I'm still tossing around options on what kind of optic to put on it. It looks like most people run a red dot but I haven't decided the roll my gun will play yet so everything is up in the air. Anyhow here she is with an Aimpoint PRO on top.

Can't go wrong with an Aimpoint Pro.

Good choice. If I didn't have astigmatism in both eyes it would make my optic decision easy and I'd keep my T-1 on all the time. I go back and forth between the Aimpoint and Vortex 1-4.

Where are you in Ohio? I'm about 50 miles east of Cincinnati

Getting closer to getting these how I like them.  The engraving is done on the 17, I just need the stamp and a 13" barrel:

I like that, does that charging handle help enough to clear the eotech levers? I just tried mine and I kept hitting my knuckles.

Lol!!  Yep, I'm sure you do  I really love that thing a lot!  So much better on my fore grip than the rails.  I will probably put it on my 17 also.  Thanks again buddy!

What length did you chop it to? And what brake is that, just the standard 51t? The first chamber looks a little longer than mine for some reason. Or is that the new 90t?

Is it necessary to run that type of extended rail to do clip on NV with the SCAR 17?

What's your setup on the 17?

Just installed my new flash hider and charging handle. The PWS came off with extreme ease. I'm not too sure why so many folks have issues getting it off. Now I just have to install the magpul selector switch, Geissele trigger and find a suitable optic.
